R.I.P. Heath Ledger (April 4, 1979 - Jan. 22, 2008)
I'm just staring at my computer, stunned by the news. I can't think of another actor of his generation who's untimely death would have shocked me more. Heath ledger was found in his Manhattan apartment today at 3:26 p.m., with the impact of his death hitting the internet and individuals all across the world in an instant. What horrible news! Heath, you will be missed!

Rude Blog Managers
Rude blog managers can go to hell! I worked very hard to put this blog together and as an ADULT, as opposed to the many children who run blogs, I have adult responsibilities and a full-time job. I have tried to promote this blog through other blogs and have found most of the owners to be arrogant and childish. My site is a video diary/library for one of the most talented performers of our time, Fantasia, and thus being so, I don't often make posts- I let the videos speak for themselves. You wanted an update, you got it, Rude blog managers can go to hell!!!

What a Week!
Wow! Sorry that I haven't updated the blog much this week, but things have been kind of crazy! A shooting at Virginia Tech this week left, I believe, 33 dead. Prayers go out to the victims, their families and friends, and anyone connected to this horrific incident. On a lighter note, yesterday, I took a trip to Chicago and went to Navy Pier. It was awesome! The weather was beautiful, and as I had never been to the Pier before, it was fun to explore. Lots of familes with their children serving in the Navy were there as well as others who just wanted to enjoy themselves on an unseasonably warm and sunny spring day on Lake Michigan. I sat for awhile near the anchor of the USS Chicago and watched people taking pictures with their subjects either posed on, or in front of, the anchor. Heading back to Union Station, I passed the Cadillac Palace Theater. That's where the touring/Chicago version of THE COLOR PURPLE is being performed. The streetposts, for blocks, had banners promoting the play and the bright yellow color of the signs shone beautifully against the clear sky on this wonderful spring day! I hope you're enjoying the videos on the site-I'm going to see if they are all still working tonight. If anyone ever encounters something not working on the blog, please let me know and I will try to fix as soon as possible! Speaking of fixing things, if you've noticed, I finally got our DJ, Omar, spinnin'. That's what a DJ's for, right? I also hope that those visiting will check out the Teena Marie song "Ooh Wee" that's posted, which leads to the first trivia question I'll be asking in the blog. I noticed this past week, that 'Tasia actually pays tribute to Teena Marie by mentioning one of Teena's classics on one of her tracks. Can anyone name what Teena Marie song it is and on which 'Tasia track it's mentioned? (Hint: It may or may not be on one of Fantasia's 2 CD's-remember, she has other tracks out there). My guess is that it's going to be an "old schooler" or a "YouTuber" who gets it! I'll post the winners answer when I receive it! You can leave your guess in the Cbox on the blog or as a comment to this post. If you can't think what it might be, you better get to listening to 'Tasia and checkin' Teena Marie out! Thanks for stopping by guys, and remember "YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL and YOU'RE HERE!"

Getting It Started!
Please bear with me folks as I attempt to get this blog going. I wanted a place where folks could come and enjoy the wonderful Fantasia's video performances all in one spot. If there are videos you don't see, let me know and I'll try to get them up soon! I'll also focus on other artists I'm currently listening to and maybe go back down memory lane with some hot R&B from the past! Keep stopping by to see what's up and thank you for coming here! Hope you enjoy!
